The group’s tenth album, Mirage, has been released following five years of work after they brought out their previous LP in 2011. Their live shows feature a laptop, the core of their performances, a few synthesisers and various drum machines, together with the vocals of Jence (the vocalist in the duo).
The group has been performing for around twelve years, packing them in wherever they go. In 2004 they kicked off with Idealistic, and since then they have released a further nine albums, deservedly making them one of the most cutting-edge electronic music groups around.
As well as their own tracks, Digitalism has remixed songs by famous groups such as Daft Punk, Depeche Mode, Monk, Cut Copy, The Futureheads and many other groups they admire. One of their most famous songs, Pogo, was part of the soundtrack for the Need for Speed Pro Street and Fifa 09 videogames.
Critics and audiences alike have often drawn comparisons with the group Justice, Daft Punk and the style known as French electro.
