The Canadian experimental electronic music group, formed in 2003 by producer Ethan Kath and singer Alice Glass, are visiting Spain as part of their latest tour, treating fans and lovers of electronic sounds to an unmissable gig.
In 2015, the band brought out a few tracks such as Frail and Deicide; now, in 2016, the new releases included Concrete and Femen, but we do not yet know whether there will be a new album as such owing to problems in the band.
In 2014, they surprised all their fans when they announced that Alice Glass was leaving the duo she had formed with Ethan Kath, alleging personal and professional reasons. When one of the members of a duo leaves there is always some uncertainty, as it marks the departure of 50% of the group.
Following many rumours about the end of Crystal Castles, Kath, who ultimately wrote and produced the songs, brought out two previously unreleased tracks, mentioned above. There is currently continued speculation regarding a possible Amnesty (I), which would be the band's third album, but for the moment nothing has been confirmed.
