The group pays tribute to one of the classic bands in the history of rock. Delving into Deep Purple’s immense repertoire, with a career spanning close to 50 years, and dozens of records and gigs to their name, this tribute band focuses on performing their biggest and most important albums in the rock genre: Made in Japan and Made in Europe.
Casino Montreux is made up of Adrià, Carlos, Sergi, David Cuntillera and David Saez, on guitar, bass, vocals, keyboards and drums, respectively. They were all influenced to a greater or lesser extent by the music of Deep Purple. The decision to choose these two albums specifically has emerged from the need to establish which records they would focus on in order to ensure a really polished tribute.
These two great albums, which will form the core of the concert, were released consecutively in 1972 and 1976, becoming the defining records of the period. And following several decades, they still provide a source of inspiration for many groups.
