Bejun Mehta (North Carolina, United States, 1968) offers a recital of the classic works by Haendel, Bach and Hoffmann along with the music by the La Nuova Musica musical group under the baton of the conductor, David Bates.
This countertenor was an acclaimed child soprano, whose dedication established him as one of the great opera promises. Son of the singing teacher, Martha Ritchery Mehata, and the pianist, Dady Mehta, he changed his vocal register on reaching his teenage years thanks to the help of the singer, David Daniels.
With an important professional career behind him, Mehta ha has performed at all of the world’s leading theatres, such as the Paris Opera House, the Metropolitan Opera House in New York or the Lyric Opera in Chicago, among many others.
