Ariel Ardit is paying tribute to Carlos Gardel as he has before, accompanied by the Medellín Philharmonic Orchestra in mid-2015. In the upcoming event, where he’ll be performing along the Teatro Real Resident Orchestra, there’ll be songs by other composers as well.
The Argentine tango singer, who performs exclusively with orchestras, will have the chance to show his versatility and interpretive skills on stage.
Ariel Ardit (Córdoba, Argentina, 1974) won the Platinum Konex in 2015 for Best Male Tango Singer of the past decade. Also in 2015, his album Aníbal Troilo 100 años was nominated for the Grammy Awards in the category Best Tango Album and won the Carlos Gardel Award 2015 for Best Album by a Male Tango Artist.
