The luxury book publisher founded by Elena Ochoa runs this shop in Madrid to promote and sell its work-of-art books. It is an interdisciplinary space where art and books are mingled in this combination of bookshop, art gallery and conference room.
Elena Ochoa’s husband, Norman Foster himself designed the venue positioned just a few metres off the Paseo de la Castellana, very close to the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. The site, a former printing press and garage has been converted into a designer space where white and open spaces are the dominant features.
Here you will discover rare books, limited editions, catalogues withdrawn from circulation and an unusual selection of photography, art, architecture and design books. The bookshop stocks works from all over the world, with a special emphasis on Asian countries and all of the Ivorypress publications.
