Escena Contemporánea 

From 26 January to 17 February Madrid will turn itself into a showcase of the most experimental theatre from across the globe. The festival's 12^th edition will comprise productions staged in theatres around the city and brought to us by theatre and dance companies as well as performance and sound art groups. Don't miss this outstanding cultural event that will include such productions as: Lo Phármaco's Antes fue siempre fuego(Teatro Pradillo); Jesús Rubio Gamo's Anunciación (Sala Cuarta Pared); and Teatro Xtremo's San Lorenzo Mártir (Teatro Lagrada).

 

The Art of Dance 

Dance represents a universal form of expression and unites cultures without any need for words. Starting from this philosophy, Víctor Ullate and Eduardo Leo present a show that depicts a figurative walk through the different disciplines of dance through the common traits of sensitivity and freedom of movement. From 8 to 19 February at Teatros del Canal.
