Apart from books, it has a magazine section and a section for veterinary, botany, chemistry, physics and biology publications. It later enlarged its offer with books on sport sailing, professional sailing and other works on nautical subjects.
In 1877, it began to print medical works (Santiago Ramón y Cajal or Letamendi), and others, such as the “Summa de Santo Tomás de Aquino” or a miniature edition of the works of Cervantes. Along with national publications, it produces translations of French, English and German scientific works.
The bookstore was complemented by meetings of specialists, attended by such personalities as Santiago Ramón and other professors, doctors and experts in top-level medicine.
