When it opened in 1924, the Garijo musical instrument shop was at Calle Santiago number 8 and it very soon became a compulsory stop for amateur and professional musicians. The main bands and orchestras, soloists, composers, conductors and arrangers, everyone connected to music put great faith into this shop.
In 1982, Mundimúsica took over, continuing in the line that had been marked out for over 50 years. Modern computer systems were brought in to serve customers better and faster, they created their own editing department, which would soon be awarded by the Ministry for Culture, and they developed their own record label to support Spanish musicians.
