This shop, located in the Plaza Mayor, next to the Casa de la Panadería, has been making hats and headwear for locals and visitors ever since it was first opened by Teodoro Enguita. It is now run by the fourth generation of this family.
The hat in winter and the “panama or canotier” in summer was a very used gentleman accessory, especially during the XX century. They sold top hats, bowler hats, wooden hats or cotton caps and have added to their stock all sort of gifts, t-shirts, wineskin (ZZZ model),scarfs, Spanish fans, thimbles... They still keep on selling all kind of head accessories and display it neatly in the glass- wooden show window.
