One hundred percent Spanish fashion. Madrid-born brand Divina Providencia started in 1999 in Mercado de Fuencarral only to move a few numbers down the same street, years later, to a fun space crowned by the cheerful winged heart that represents the brand.
Its collections, designed by a couple of young creators, have a 60’s flair and are geared towards women with an attitude, with a taste for different and original garments with a retro air: shirtwaist dresses, lapelled coats or unconventionally-cut skirts with bold patterns. All of it with plenty of imagination and a rich colour palette in basic tones such as pink, blue, yellow, green or fuchsia. Their garments, none of them under size 38, are beautiful in an apparently simple and naive way.
