Roger Zen opened a Zen in Pozuelo fourteen years ago, after the Asia Gallery in the Hotel Palace, which has become a point of reference for oriental cuisine, and later he opened Zen, possibly one of the most ambitious oriental restaurants in Madrid. One of its peculiarities is that it is inside the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, and it is a mega space with spectacular decoration brought from China. As for the cuisine, at the moment there are more Chinese than Japanese dishes, although the latter are also well represented with sushi (niguiris, makis, temakis or gunkan) and sashimi.
As for Chinese cuisine, you can choose a tuna belly tartare with caviar or any of the dishes based on wagyu or lobster; all the fish are excellent. Duck is one of their specialities and the duck with plum sauce is very good. With regard to desserts, it is worth trying white chocolate with matcha tea.
