Located in the historical centre of the capital, in the Literary Quarter next to Plaza Mayor, La Capilla de la Bolsa emerged from the desire to create an establishment offering excellent food and music, which is one of its characteristics.
Back in the Middle Ages, the building that now houses the restaurant was the Chapel of Santa Cruz, which, according to historical records, was linked to the legendary order of the Templars. Years later, the building became home to the Madrid Stock Exchange. The restaurant’s layout has respected the edifice’s architecture, specifically by maintaining the Baroque vault and the original columns, so customers can enjoy hundreds of years of Art History as they eat.
The pleasures of Mediterranean Haute Cuisine are accompanied by a lyrical music show performed by top-notch artists. Nothing is left to chance in this restaurant, where everything has been designed down to the last detail, including the private rooms offering different environments to satisfy all needs.
