Samy Alí, a Madrid-based chef of Sudanese descent, has teamed up with decorator Sión Calderón to open this modern, well lit new restaurant located just steps from Plaza de Oriente. Its fusion cuisine features dishes inspired by a wide variety of cuisines, primarily Oriental. The restaurant has no traditional menu, offering only two set degustation menus, one of them extensive and the other more limited. Its dishes include original creations such as baby squid with butifarra (a traditional Catalan sausage), Thai curry, Korean tteok, piquillo pepper coulis, lard pastilles and beach sorrel. Fun, creative cuisine.
