A bar and restaurant founded in 1948, offering tapas, dishes to share and set menus at great prices. Its location in the heart of the Lavapiés neighbourhood makes it an ideal place to enjoy typical Madrid tapas (croquettes, deep fried calamari, huevos rotos - a type of scrambled eggs...), with a nod to the multicultural feel of the area (Thai-style spring rolls, hummus, quesadilla with refried beans...).
Interestingly, its other name (Soidemersol) is because the original owners (two married couples from Zamora) wanted to call the bar Los Remedios, but as the name was already registered they decided to write it backwards.
