One of the best spots in La Latina, this place is a familiar favourite of all those people who have looked for somewhere to recharge their batteries after a morning spent at the El Rastro market. Open from eleven in the morning right through to midnight, Delic has become a popular meeting place for young people, many of them from abroad. They serve sandwiches with duck paté and blackberry jam, marinaded salmon with cream cheese or ham and sundried tomatoes. But the real key to success lies in the homemade sweets accompanied by teas and coffees of different varieties and in different preparations. Its carrot cake is famous throughout Madrid, and at night nowhere makes a better mojito or caipirina.
