This gastronomic space, located in the NH Palacio de Tepa hotel in the heart of the Literary Quarter, is the personal project of the famous chef, Jesús Almagro, offering two proposals at the same time: Mesteño gastronomic restaurant and a more informal space, Canseco.
A combination of tradition, nobility and nature are the base of the cuisine at Mesteño, where Jesús Almagro allows his creativity to run wild with an á la carte menu and two tasting menus: Mesteño and Gran Mesteño. This cuisine is based on seasonal produce but with daring details and an extremely refined technique. Its specialities include dishes such as a hake steak on a bed of roasted peppers and different types of onion, crab ravioli with citronella, tarragon and lime kefir or smoked rice with mojama, beetroot and parmesan cheese.
Canseco is located in the bar area and offers an informal menu based on dishes with fine produce in a reduced format or to share.
