Bar Postas is a fish and chip restaurant located right in the heart of Madrid, halfway between Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor.
The few tables and chairs in this establishment leave room for the bar, where you can watch how fried foods are cooked in the deep fryer in full sight of the customers. One of its most renowned specialities is pescaíto frito, the name given to portions of small fish in batter which is then fried, or squids in sandwiches or rations. The best way to eat this kind of food is with a glass of barrel beer, vermouth or cider.
