Madrid International Jazz Festival
Between November 4 and 28, Madrid will host the 26th edition of this event, which has become an unmissable appointment for jazz-lovers. Teatro Fernán Gómez, Teatro Circo Price and other major cultural venues are some of the stages that will welcome great names such as Joe Lovano (Nov 4), Cassandra Wilson Nov 18), Kike Perdomo & Eric Marienthal (Nov 12) or Madeleine Peyroux (Nov 13). A total of 15 clubs spread all over the city -among which Café Central, Populart and El Junco- will also take part in this edition and accommodate performances.
The Prodigy
Liam Howlett, Keith Flin and Maxim, who have been around for nearly 20 years, will be landing in Madrid to present their latest album Invaders Must Die. In their record, they fuse punk and rave music with the formula that launched them to international stardom in the mid 90s, and which has been missing from their latest tracks. The Prodigy is widely considered one of the best live bands of electronic and rock music today. In the concert they will be offering in our city they will share the stage with Enter Shikari, a recently formed British dance rock group. Hard rock and electronic music will take the Palacio de los Deportes by storm on December 4.
