Located just 8 kilometres from the Puerta del Sol, the Monte del Pardo is one of the best preserved Mediterranean forests in Europe. The El Pardo Royal Palace, the Casita del Príncipe and the Quinta del Duque de Arco are situated in the very heart of this forest, where the kings went hunting.
Madrid has a special service called the Medieval Train, which transports passengers to a city as marvellous as Sigüenza. Travel back in time to the Middle Ages surrounded by minstrels. It is a delight for passengers of all ages.
