Opposite Puerta de Alcalá, this space designed by Philippe Starck is the bar attached to the restaurant Ramsés. Since its opening, it has become a hot spot. Playing with black and white and with materials like gold and silver, the French designer has created a space that blends luxury with more urban touches (his exquisite, oriental unisex bathrooms are worthy of special mention).
The true star of the place is his square bar. Guided by the customer's tastes, the professionals at the bar will create an original cocktail before your eyes, like the Cosmopolitan Revolucionado, for instance, with crushed ginger and chilli. If you're not feeling so daring, you can always order something off the menu, which also offers delicacies, like Opium Martini (Hendrick’s, Green Apple and lime juice with a Blue Curaçao base), Pera de Alcalá (Moët Chandon, Four Roses, Remy Martin and Pera Franklin) or a New York Classic Style (Grey Goose or Tanqueray Ten, Noilly Prat, olive or a lemon twist). A place to go with the flow.
