Type: Restaurant
Description:
A restaurant to remember for its food, its atmosphere, its decor and everything else. The kitchen is supervised by Oscar Velasco, who offers a menu which is not long but caters for all tastes, ranging from traditional favourites like croquettes and onion omelette made with fresh country eggs to sophisticated dishes such as diced monkfish with tomato and onion compote, creamy rice with prawns, etc. The decoration, the work of Pascua Ortega, a leading figure in the world of design, is very modern, featuring large illuminated panels showing scenes from Italian markets in a slightly naïf style. There are also generously proportioned sofas and mirrors on every wall.
Service in the restaurant is quick, helpful and friendly and the wine list offers a range of good wines at reasonable prices plus some exceptional wines for the connoisseur. The list was drawn up under the expert eye of David Robledo, the sommelier from Santceloni. This restaurant looks set to establish a reputation as one of the city’s finest.
